Personal Mission Statement My Mission Research Proposal

I feel that making a contribution is something you need to do every day. It does not need to be a large contribution every day, but some contribution should be made. Another key component to my strategy will be actively seeking those areas in which I can make the most difference. There are so many opportunities to contribute to society, and I feel that if I am able to choose the right ones for me, I will make the greatest contribution. In order to identify these opportunities I must continually educate myself with regards to my community. I want to understand it and its needs. This will help me find out where I belong.

I feel that my statement is based on timeless, proven principles. Integrity and a hard work ethic have helped to build this country and if I follow that same path I too will succeed. Great change has been achieved not just through good deeds, but through inspiring and motivating others to do their own good deeds. I feel that my mission represents the best within me. It is a personal challenge to not become absorbed in the minutiae of everyday life, but to focus on making the great changes and having a positive influence on those around me. This mission will be difficult to achieve at times, a fact that indicates to me it does push me to bring my best to this world every single day.

My statement definitely inspires me. I respond to challenges and there is no doubt...

It may be difficult to truly have an impact on this world yet I know that people do it every day. I will be one of those people, too. My focusing on three basic elements of life - family, work and community - I feel that I have provided a solid framework with which to approach my mission but have left enough flexibility that I will be able to find the best place for me.
My mission points me in the right direction and I know I have the skills to get me there. I am intelligent, disciplined and I love to see my work contribute to the lives of others. I love to help. My mission fits well with these skills. Yet I also know that I could fail, and from that I draw a lot of motivation. If achieving my mission in life is easy, I would not be motivated but I know it will require a lot of work and I derive my motivation from that challenge. I want to leave the world a better place than I found it. I can always turn to this mission statement for guidance when faced with a challenge. We can all achieve this, if we are committed to it. This is not just my personal mission statement. It is my commitment to my family and my community.
